Become a Volunteer
Many opportunities for volunteering occur throughout the year. They range from short-term projects, like weeding the gardens or painting a table, to longer-term commitments, such as art or sport instructing to participating on the Parents Involvement Committee. A questionnaire regarding each parent's skills and volunteering interests is included in the enrollment packet. You will be introduced to the options at the beginning of the school year.

Montessori Children’s House Giving to Others
Together children, staff and parents make Christmas decorations which are sold to friends, colleagues, and at Christmas bazaars. Money raised is donated to organizations and foundations that support premature born children or children deprived from family care.

Classroom Donations
We maintain a “wish list”and encourage parents and others to donate: books, supplies for classroom pets, and materials for special projects (instead of giving presents and flowers to guides and assistants).

Spring Plant Sale
We run a Spring Plant Sale which generates revenue for the school. Plants are grown by the children and their parents at home and on the day of the sale each one of them talks about their plant. All the revenue generated is rolled back into improvements in the garden and green space around the school.
