Admission Procedures

Thank you for your interest in Montessori Children’s House (Detska kushta Montessori)!

We admit students of any race, national and ethnic origin, religious belief and family structure.
In order to be considered for:
• Our toddler program, the child must be between 1.2 and 2.5/ 3 years of age;
• Our primary program, the child must be between 2.5/ 3 (toilet trained) and 6 years of age by September 1.


Admission Procedure Step by Step

Step 1: Scheduled Observations
Interested parents are asked to observe the school prior to submitting an Application Form. You may do this by calling us at +359 884 032 852 between 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. We schedule observations and visits Monday to Friday after 5:30 p.m.

Step 2: Application Form and Fee
When the decision to apply is made, complete the application form and send in to the school with a nonrefundable 25 € application fee.

Step 3: Attend Prospective Parent Meeting (without your child)
Prospective parent meetings are held in the evenings after 6.00 p.m.
They include:
• Overview of Montessori philosophy and practice
• Tour of the school
• Question and answer session

Step 4: Attend Admissions Visit Day
Your child will join a group of other new applicants or individually spend about 45 min in our classroom with a guide.
The parent is not expected to attend this session.

Step 5: Receive Notification of Admissions Decision
Admissions decisions are made by the Head of School and teaching staff. These decisions are based on an evaluation of the child’s school visit and the needs of existing classrooms with regard to balance of age and sex.
Admissions decisions will be communicated to you via e-mail and/or a letter within 5 working days.
If a space is not immediately available, your child may be offered a place on our waiting list.
You will receive notification of waiting list status. Decisions related to
students placed on the waiting list will be made as soon as spaces become available. You
will be notified by a phone call, an email and/or a letter if your child is accepted from the waiting list.


6: Return Enrollment Contract and Tuition Deposit
If a position is offered to your child, before his/her first school day you must return to Montessori Children’s House your signed Enrollment Contract and pay a non-refundable 150.00€ deposit, choose a payment option and pay the tuition.
Upon receipt of your tuition deposit, we will hold a place for your child in our program and you will be contractually obligated for the year’s tuition.


Step 7: All Required Documents and Tuition
Please, submit the rest of the required documents not later than the day your child starts school.

Enrollment is possible all year round if spaces are available!
