Giving to Montessori Children’s House

Montessori Children’s House relies on your help and support. You can express your generosity in several ways:

• Become a Volunteer
  Many opportunities for volunteering occur throughout the year, from short-term projects, like weeding the gardens or painting a table, to longer-term commitments, such as art or sport instructing to participating on the Parents Involvement Committee. A questionnaire regarding each parent's skills and volunteering interests is included in the enrollment packet. You will be introduced to the options at the beginning of the school year.
  



• Summer Auction
  Donate to, organize and participate in the Summer Auction and all the charity activities throughout the year. The Auction is a fun, social event that allows parents to visit with one another and take advantage of wonderful auction items.




• Classroom Donations
  The Guide maintains a classroom "wish list". Examples of such requests include supplies for classroom pets, books and materials for special projects. These donations are always appreciated and are a way to directly contribute to the classroom.




• Annual Plant Sale
  Parent/Staff run Spring plant sale generates revenue for the school. All the revenue generated is rolled back into improvements in the garden and green space around the school.

It does not matter how and how much you can donate. What matters is to serve as models for our children and help them understand the different ways of helping others.

Montessori Children’s House Giving to Others
We at Montessori Children’s House together with the parents help children deprived of family care, have different disabilities and special needs. A certain percentage of the money we receive through our charity and fund raising events we donate to orphanages.
All the donations from our Christmas Decorations Selling Initiative are dedicated to helping others in need. The children with the school staff make Christmas tree decorations and sell them with their families to friends and relatives.
