Faculty and Staff

Diana Manova is a cofounder, guide and principal of Montessori Children’s House (Detska kushta Montessori). Diana earned her AMI Primary Diploma from the Montessori Training Center of Minnesota and a M.Ed. from Loyola College in Maryland. She worked as an intern in the USA and a lead teacher in a Montessori pre-school in Poland.
She has an M.A. in Bulgarian language and literature from the University of Sofia “St. Kliment Ohridski” and holds a diploma of teaching English from the University of Cambridge, U.K.
Diana has seven years of working experience with Peace Corps, foreign offices and diplomats as a trainer of Bulgarian language and culture as well as six years as an English teacher to children and high school students.
Diana believes in every child’s potential. She is grateful for the opportunity to witness and guide the child’s development of will, independence, knowledge and memory. For her, working with children means working for the betterment of the mankind.
She loves nature, photography, poetry, swimming, skiing, hiking, making greeting cards, doing yoga, and going to the theatre. In her free time she enjoys being with family and going out with friends.



Simeonka Manova is a cofounder and a volunteer business consultant of the school. She holds Master in Economics and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Bocconi University (Milan, Italy) and since 2003 is working for one of the most important financial institutions in Europe.

She believes that a better world can be achieved only through improving ourselves and hence, an education of our children that discloses their potential, virtues, talent, creativity, and independence is the first and most important step toward it.
In her free time Simeonka enjoys reading books, doing yoga, meeting friends, and studying foreign languages.



Lyndie Morada Mendoza is an AMI Primary Montessori directress. She is from Manila, Philippines. She has Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Far Eastern University Manila, Philippines. Lyndie completed the AMI Montessori Primary Diploma Course at Navadisha Montessori Institute in Chennai, India.

With ample experience coupled with the nagging curiosity to see the world outside, she settled for a while in Singapore. That job gave her the opportunity to meet and mingle with people of diverse cultures and different races.
Her love for children though has driven her to pursue a career in child care education.
She understands that to be a Montessori teacher requires a lot of hard work and dedication. But she also believes its rewards are beyond measure.

During her free time, Lyndie reads books, reads and watches the news, and cooks. She loves art, music, theater, and visits to the museum. She has traveled extensively and crave new experiences for learning and self-development. She has a passion for geography, history, and biography.


Silvena Hristova is a toddler teacher and a primary assistant. She holds a bachelor degree in early childhood education from the university of Sofia “St. Kiment Ohridski “.
She studied the Montessori Method at "St. Nicholas Montessori college of Ireland" in Dublin through the international student program Erasmus. Silvena understands that the Montessori Method is very useful and helpful for the children because they learn best by direct experience.
Each child carries a great potential and this potential should be developed while the child explores the surrounding world by himself.

In her spare time, Silvena loves walks in the nature, going to the cinema, visiting exhibitions and seeing her family and friends.
